What is included in the Rent?

All utilities-heat, electric, water, sewer, cable, internet, security system.

How do I pay my rent?

We accept checks, cash, venmo, electronic transfers, and credit cards but there is a 3% surcharge on all credit card charges.

What size apartments do you have?

We have 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, and 4 bedroom apartments.

What is the lease period?

Our typical lease runs from June 7th through May 25th.

When should I contact D&D Realty for rentals?

Any time is a good time, but we typically start to get requests in September for leases that begin the following June. So don’t wait.

What will I need to secure a room?

You will need to have a lease for all the rooms on the floor, this can be one lease for a separate person per room or one lease for all the rooms under one persons name, and a security deposit for each room.

What information do you need to make up a lease?

Do I need a Guarantor?

Yes we require a Guarantor.

How much is the security deposit?

The security deposit is $400.00/room.

Can we have more than one parking spot per floor?

As for the parking we cannot write into the lease that there are more than one spot per floor as this is an urban area and room around the apartments is limited. There is not enough room at any of the houses to allow 3 spots per floor without blocking people in. If the tenants work together they can have more than 1 car per floor but we can’t guarantee no one will get blocked in. We have had cases where nine people in a house have had cars and they’ve made it work. However people get blocked in and all the tenants on each floor have to work together to make sure people can get in and out when they need to. It does usually take a week or two of growing pains to figure out everyone’s needs. We can’t take it upon ourselves to coordinate parking for all tenants, as it would be a full time responsibility. If everyone wants to have more than one car per floor they just have to work it out amongst themselves.

What if something breaks what do I do?

We have full-time maintenance on site 10-6 everyday.
